Born and raised in tropical North Queensland, Australia, Fashion Designer and Visual Artist Sacha Wohlfahrt is seeking to further her career into the Creative Industries/Fashion Industry. With a strong artistic/fashion background developed from entering fashion competitions throughout her school life, and receiving numerous awards and scholarships all led to her choice of career in the Fashion Industry.  She will be graduating from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Creative Industries in January 2012 and beginning her career working with local fashion designer Kateyln Aslett.

Sacha Wohlfahrt is also currently establishing her first fashion label, ‘Little Wolf’. This is a joint creative venture with two of her close friends. It is hoped this label will continue to grow and develop into a highly regarded quirky fashion brand.

A signature style that permeates all of Sacha’s designs (both fashion and visual art) is that of ethereal beauty, eclectic passion, abstract conceptual themes, elegance and whimsical detail.

As a young emerging Australian artist Sacha likes to push boundaries in all areas of her career and explore everything unique, through fashion design, visual art, sculptures and abstract art.

Most of Sacha’s artwork delves into another world, has hidden messages or explores different pathways occurring in her life at that particular time.  Sacha’s artistry stems from  ‘an overwhelming desire to create’, and her design aesthetic  is inspired by many different art forms, nature, ideologies, history, dreams and memories. Themes and concepts are always explored in depth and the final artwork is the outcome of Sacha’s artistic conclusion.

Sacha’s personality and emotions consistently underpin and inform her artwork to reach out and connect with her audience and with the wider community.
